HIEUTHUHAI

Born in Vietnam in 1999 as Trần Minh Hiếu, HIEUTHUHAI emerged in Vietnamese rap from 2020 after competing in the first season of King of Rap, where he finished in the top five. A member of the GERDNANG collective, Hieuthuhai has developed a style at the intersection of rap, pop and singing, with tracks built around melodic toplines, accessible choruses and a flexible flow—closer to light, direct writing than to showy rap. Songs such as "Cua", "Chơi" and "Bật nhạc lên" with Harmonie accompanied this emergence phase, before he established a stronger presence in the Vietnamese scene in the early 2020s. In 2022 he released the singles "Dynamic Duo", "Vệ tinh" with Hoàng Tôn and "Ngủ một mình", which continue this aesthetic between melodic rap and urban pop. Alongside his music career, Hieuthuhai became a regular television personality in Vietnam, notably on 2 Days 1 Night from 2022, and as a guest on Rap Việt in 2024. That same year he took part in Anh trai "say hi", a show he won, confirming a trajectory rooted both in popular music and in mainstream audiovisual formats.
