That Mexican OT, a Mexican‑American rapper based in Bay City, Texas, born Virgil René Gazca, draws on the Southern rap tradition while foregrounding his Latino roots. Active in the Texas scene around the early 2020s, he gained attention with the collaborative project South Texas Project (2020) with Drodi and DJ Tatem, which established a sound mixing heavy trap, nods to Houston rap and border imagery.
