Kizo

Born in Gdańsk, Kizo, real name Patryk Woziński, has since the late 2000s been developing a Polish rap that sits between trap, pop rap and Afro-trap, with direct writing and productions designed for both melodic and rhythmic impact. Active since 2009, he passes through the early local rap scenes before gaining visibility at the end of the 2010s, notably with the albums Ortalion and Czempion in 2018, followed by Pegaz in 2019. His trajectory continues with Złoto i biel in 2019, Posejdon in 2020, Jeszcze pięć minut in 2021, Ostatni taniec in 2022 and Patocelebryta in 2023. Kizo has also evolved within several collective frameworks, linked to Chillwagon, TROYA and the Heavyweight project, which sheds light on part of his grounding in group rap and collaborations. His repertoire blends sung choruses, deep phrasing, trap rhythms, dancing touches and more pop borrowings, with a marked taste for tracks with a strong hook. Among his recurring or notable collaborations are Borixon, Szpaku, Żabson, Tymek, Wac Toja, ReTo, Kabe and Bletka, with whom he releases the EP Patopop (Vol. 1) in 2024 and Patopop (Vol. 2) in 2024. Kizo thus occupies a special place in the recent Polish landscape, at the junction between street rap, melodic formats and mainstream aesthetics.
