Jubin Nautiyal

Born in Dehradun, in Uttarakhand, Jubin Nautiyal has made his mark in Indian playback singing from the mid-2010s, primarily in Hindi cinema, while also recording in other languages. Trained in music from an early age and having appeared on X Factor India in 2011, Jubin Nautiyal makes his film debut with «Ek Mulakat» for Sonali Cable in 2014, followed by tracks for The Shaukeens, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Jazbaa or Rustom. His trajectory unfolds in a register blending Indian pop, romantic ballad, elements of classical music and touches of rock or electronic depending on the production, with a supple voice, often placed on lyrical melodies and accessible arrangements. Over the years, Jubin Nautiyal has worked with several active Bollywood composers, among them Mithoon, Jeet Gannguli, Rochak Kohli, Sachin-Jigar or Tanishk Bagchi, and appears on both film soundtracks and independent singles. Among his most identifiable songs are «Tum Hi Aana» (2019), «Lut Gaye» (2021), «Raataan Lambiyan» for Shershaah (2021), or «Manike» (2022) with Yohani for Thank God. Jubin Nautiyal thus operates in a space between film music, contemporary pop and sentimental song, with regular live presence on stage and in Indian mainstream productions.
