Born in Brunswick, Georgia, Christopher Michael Hulvey, known as Hulvey, has been developing a form of Christian rap since the late 2010s that blends melodic trap, sung hooks and introspective songwriting. His career took on a new dimension when he joined Reach Records in 2019, a key label in American Christian hip‑hop, where Hulvey has worked alongside artists such as Lecrae. His discography began with shorter formats, including the EP BRKNHRT in 2020, followed by the album Christopher in 2021 and CRY in 2024.
