Ski Aggu

Based in Berlin and emerging from the German rap scene of the 2020s, Ski Aggu has developed an aesthetic that blends party‑oriented rap, electronic influences and direct references to the capital’s nightlife. Beneath often fast, melodic productions, Ski Aggu plays with a mix of ironic detachment, party imagery and portraits of urban youth; his flow is straightforward, clings to catchy choruses and is carried by autotune. The project began circulating online in the early 2020s, initially through a series of singles that placed him between club rap and alternative pop, before Ski Aggu consolidated his visual identity with a ski mask and protective goggles that became part of his stage persona. The 2023 collaboration on the single “Friesenjung,” notably with Joost Klein and Otto Waalkes, further broadened his audience by linking his rap to a reinterpreted tradition of German‑language popular song. Since then he has continued to release music, appear on other artists’ projects and play shows and festivals in German‑speaking areas, while remaining rooted in a Berlin aesthetic where humour, party atmosphere and neighbourhood everyday references intersect.
