Gauchito Club

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Gauchito Club develops a mixed pop that moves between rock, cumbia, funk, reggae, hip-hop and electronic touches, with detours into bolero, salsa or tango depending on the tracks. Gauchito Club made a name for itself on the Argentine independent scene with songs featuring immediate choruses and direct, everyday-rooted lyrics that revisit friendships, romantic relationships, parties, neighborhood habits and understated social observation. The group laid down its first discographic markers with Guandanara in 2018 and broadened its audience with El camino de la libertad in 2021—two albums that reveal a flexible collective songwriting approach and a strong taste for blending popular rhythms with pop formats. Over the course of its trajectory, Gauchito Club has played on various stages across Argentina and placed its music within a generation of bands open to stylistic crossovers, while retaining an identity tied to Mendoza. Collaborations with Bandalos Chinos, El Kuelgue and Muerdo extend this dynamic of exchange without changing the core of the project: music that is mobile, choral and deeply attached to the language of everyday life.
