Lola Indigo
Under the stage name Lola Indigo, singer and dancer Miriam Doblas Muñoz has, since the late 2010s, developed a project positioned between urban pop and reggaeton. Born in 1992 in Madrid and raised in Huétor-Tájar, Andalusia, she became widely known after taking part in the 2017 edition of Operación Triunfo, an experience that paved the way for a solo career closely tied to choreographic culture. From the 2018 single “Ya no quiero ná,” Lola Indigo established a sound that combines Latin rhythms, trap sonics and pop choruses, crafted for the stage and for working with a dance crew. The 2019 album “Akelarre” cemented this visual and musical universe marked by contemporary witchcraft imagery, followed in 2021 by “La Niña,” where she amplified reggaeton, R&B influences and early-2000s references. With “El Dragón” in 2023 the artist explored more electronic textures and a more club-oriented songwriting approach, expanding collaborations with Spanish and Latin American pop and urban musicians while reaffirming the central role of dance in Lola Indigo’s artistic identity.
