Delaossa
Situated between Málaga’s working-class neighbourhoods and a Spanish rap scene in flux, Delaossa shapes an artistic universe where hip‑hop mixes with trap sonics and a pronounced Andalusian sensibility. A member of the Space Hammu collective, he began to attract attention in the mid‑2010s for a highly narrative writing style focused on neighbourhood life, personal relationships and social tensions, delivered with a flow that alternates technical passages and more melodic sections. The Málaga rapper released his first full‑length album, Un perro andaluz, in 2019, which established an aesthetic influenced by modern boom‑bap, nocturnal atmospheres and a strong introspective bent. He followed with singles and collaborative projects, especially within Space Hammu, before returning in 2022 with Playa Virginia, an album that prolongs his work with cinematic imagery and detailed portrayals of urban everyday life. Between dark productions, slow tempos and more sung choruses, Delaossa has emerged as one of the representative voices of a Spanish rap that blends classical heritage, local references and contemporary codes.
