Raul Clyde
Based in Spain, Raul Clyde builds a musical universe that moves between trap, indie rock, dancehall and reggaeton, with an identity chiefly tied to a nostalgic reggaeton sound informed by the early 2010s. He began his trajectory in 2022 with the project Destino 2013 and gained visibility in 2023 with “Tuenti Remix” alongside Saiko, a track that placed him within the new Spanish urban scene. In 2024 Raul Clyde released the album Destino 2014, where he extends this aesthetic by combining melodic choruses, Latin rhythms and explicit references to a specific reggaeton era, while featuring artists such as Jowell, Jory Boy, J Alvarez, Gotay and Yung Beef. The release accompanies a shift toward larger stages and a more assertive live presence in Spain. Raul Clyde’s path is thus marked by a contemporary rereading of established reggaeton codes, integrated into more personal songwriting within a Spanish urban framework.
