Rose Betts

Born in Chipperfield in Hertfordshire and early on based in London, Rose Betts has developed a singer-songwriter approach that blends pop, folk and Celtic inflections in an often spare format focused on voice and very direct melodies. She first appeared on a track by Nikola Kodjabashia with the Macedonian group Foltin in 2011, then began releasing her own material from 2016 with the single Orange Trees and the EP The Stars Look Down. Her work later expanded between alternative pop and music for film and visual media, including a collaboration on Bazzi’s Young & Alive in 2020 and a cover of Song to the Siren selected for the Zack Snyder’s Justice League soundtrack in 2021. At the same time she gained online visibility with Driving Myself Home, widely circulated on TikTok in 2022, and with Irish Eyes in 2023. Her discography centers on the album White Orchids (2022), followed by There Is No Ship (2025), where intimate, narrative songwriting remains central. In 2024 Rose Betts joined Nettwerk and also contributed to the soundtrack of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver alongside Junkie XL, confirming a trajectory between indie pop, modern folk and screen compositions.
