Nick Lutsko
Born in Orlando, Florida in 1990 and long-time resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Nick Lutsko has since the early 2010s developed a career at the crossroads of indie rock, pop, and satirical song. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and filmmaker, Lutsko first attracted attention with online tracks, where melodic writing and highly structured choruses meet absurd humor, recurring characters, and a sense of pastiche drawing on both American pop and indie rock. Alongside this comedic vein, he pursues work that is more directly musical and narrative, documented by the albums Heart of Mold (2013), Etc. (2015) and Swords (2019), before the compilations Songs on the Computer (2020) and More Songs on the Computer (2021), then HAUNTED (2024) and Ends (2025). His universe alternates between short formats designed for video and more developed songs, often driven by dense production, changing arrangements and a marked taste for catchy melodies. On stage, Nick Lutsko regularly performs with several accomplices, including bassist Eric Parham, in a setup that extends the offbeat spirit of his videos without limiting itself to parodic registers.
