Under the name Cleopard2000, Leon Purrucker develops from Berlin a project positioned between trance, hard trance and eurodance, with songwriting focused on melody, vocals and clear emotional build‑ups. Born in Nuremberg, he first played guitar, taught himself piano and then turned to electronic music through Berlin’s nightlife. His aesthetic combines direct harmonies, highly readable choruses and more introspective breaks, in a format designed as much for the club as for solitary listening. Cleopard2000 drew attention with tracks like “Luv Ing You”, “Chasing Sunsets”, “Regalia” and “Desire”, which outline an identity where eurodance nostalgia meets the more upfront energy of hard trance. Active as both producer and DJ, he also appears in stage contexts tied to European electronic nights, with sets noted by Boiler Room, Unreal, Teletech and Mondo Disko. Cleopard2000 is also affiliated with the Polyamor crew, a framework that highlights his place in a contemporary club scene attentive to intersections of intensity, emotion and rave culture.
