Active on London’s independent rap scene, Lord Apex has developed since the mid‑2010s a lo‑fi, introspective hip‑hop influenced by boom bap, jazz rap and psychedelic aesthetics. Originally from west London, he first released music through mixtapes and short‑format projects, building a world defined by slowed‑down productions, soul samples and lyrics that weave together pop references, everyday observation and a diffuse spirituality.
