Gabrielle Kwarteng
Based in New York, Gabrielle Kwarteng, an American-Ghanaian DJ, has developed a mixing practice at the intersection of the city’s club, queer and underground scenes. Active since the late 2010s, she constructs sets that move between house, techno, disco, electro, dub, broken beat and bass music, with a central emphasis on percussive rhythms, warm textures and a clear dancefloor-oriented progression.
