Matteo Lane

Born in 1986 and raised near Chicago in the United States, Matteo Lane developed an early interest in drawing, singing and comedy before moving to New York and turning to stand-up. Of Italian and Mexican descent, he draws on that dual heritage, his openly gay identity and his background as an illustrator to craft humour centered on everyday life, family, language and pop culture. After performing on New York club stages he toured North America and Europe and has appeared on American television and on streaming platforms through recordings of his shows.
