Active on the British rock scene since 2010, Echoes has crafted a sound where progressive rock intersects with post‑rock atmospheres and tensions bordering on metal. The UK‑based band relies on guitars that are at once melodic and massive, clear vocals, and layered song structures that alternate slow builds, rhythmic ruptures and more airy passages. Echoes’s debut album, “The Pursuit,” establishes a sound focused on long formats and a pronounced attention to textures, while “Cornerstone” explores a more experimental dimension, with stronger contrasts between quiet passages and denser sections. After an extended hiatus, Echoes returned with a series of digital releases, including the singles “Pyre” and “2029” accompanied by their B‑sides “A Lost Hymn” and “Pearlescent,” and the EP “Ever After,” which continues the band’s search for a balance between melody, intensity and cinematic atmospheres.
