Aymeric Lompret
Born in Lille in 1988, Aymeric Lompret built his career as a comedian between amateur theatre and stand-up stages, after leaving an HEC preparatory class and working several salaried jobs. Trained with a troupe from Tourcoing, he wrote his first sketches and performed in venues across the Lille metropolitan area before being spotted on television in On n’demande qu’à en rire on France 2 between 2011 and 2013. Lompret then opened for other comedians and refined a stand-up style that mixes social observation, absurd digressions and political positions. From 2016 to 2018 he joined the collective Les Insolents, alongside performers such as Blanche Gardin and Pierre-Emmanuel Barré; Barré co-wrote with him the shows Tant pis (2017) and Yolo (2023), extending their regular collaboration. Alongside his stage work, Lompret developed a career as a radio columnist, first on Par Jupiter! and then on the programme Le Grand Dimanche Soir on France Inter, which he left in 2024 before cofounding La Dernière on Radio Nova with Guillaume Meurice, Pierre-Emmanuel Barré and Juliette Arnaud. Lompret has also appeared occasionally in film and television, notably in the series La Meilleure Version de moi-même (2021) and the film Les Pistolets en plastique (2024).
