Damon Wild

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Damon Wild has been developing a career tied to the most underground American techno since the early 1990s, combining raw energy, acid motifs and hypnotic construction. As a producer and DJ he emerged on the New York scene with tracks like “Bang the Acid”, “Avion” and “Rotary”, which reflect a direct, nervous, rhythm-centred aesthetic. He first launched Experimental Records and later founded Synewave, a label closely associated with New York techno and its more minimal, industrial or mental offshoots. Damon Wild’s work circulated between clubs, raves and specialised networks in the United States and Europe, operating in a register where dry techno, mechanical tension and acid groove intersect. Over the years he has maintained this approach, alternating productions and DJ activity, with a sound that remains committed to dancefloor effectiveness while preserving the imprint of New York’s underground.
