Z.I.P.P.O

Active on the Italian techno scene, Z.I.P.P.O develops a project centered on an aesthetic that is both hypnotic and melodic, where deep techno, Detroit influences, electro touches and more ambient atmospheres intersect. A producer and DJ, Z.I.P.P.O emerged in the early 2010s through a series of maxi singles that placed him within a network of European labels focused on texture- and depth-oriented techno. He subsequently founded Fides Records, a platform that allows him to structure his own releases while hosting other producers with a similar sensibility, and he simultaneously explores more experimental or introspective variations depending on the project. Z.I.P.P.O also develops the duo 3KZ with Italian producer Kaelan, a formation that extends his interest in more atmospheric forms, sometimes bordering on ambient or immersive techno. On stage, Z.I.P.P.O favors sets in which fast rhythms remain connected to a marked harmonic writing, blending long progressions, detailed synthetic lines and occasionally more abrasive touches depending on the club and festival contexts in which he performs.
