Mad Miran

Based in Rotterdam after having emerged on Amsterdam's underground scene, mad miran has developed a DJ trajectory closely tied to Dutch clubs and record shops. Active within the Strange Sounds From Beyond crew, of which she remains a resident, she has also worked at Clone Records and earned a residency at De School, two milestones that anchor her grounding in a demanding yet open dance culture. Mad miran's sets move between techno, electro, breaks, acid, trance and other forms of club electronic music, with a flexible approach that allows old-school references, percussive rhythms and more oblique selections to dialogue. This approach has taken her from local scenes to dancefloors in several European cities, in a register that prioritizes energy, tension, and shifts in perspective over a single format. According to available information, mad miran has also announced a first physical mixtape on the Italian label Art-Aud, conceived as a long-form piece traversed by a rave-imagined universe and multiple influences.
