Yinon Yahel

Born in Israel in 1978, Yinon Yahel first develops as a musician before establishing himself as a producer, DJ and remixer from the 2000s. His career moves between vocal house, dance-pop, EDM and Mediterranean pop, with writing aimed at both club formats and songs. Yinon Yahel is a longtime associate of Tel Aviv’s dance scene, notably through his work with Offer Nissim and Maya Simantov, evident on several releases from the second half of the 2000s, including First Time in 2005. Parallel to his productions under his own name, he signs official remixes for international pop artists and also works for television, advertising and the Israeli scene. In Israel, Yinon Yahel works as arranger, composer or producer on tracks by Nadav Guedj, Eden Ben Zaken, Lior Narkis, Omer Adam or Shiri Maimon. He contributed to the orchestration of Golden Boy in 2015 for Eurovision, then to Feker Libi in 2020, and is among the authors of Unicorn in 2023. His style blends clear electronic pulsation, pop refrains, club-oriented textures and borrowings from local sounds, in a constant back-and-forth between dancefloor, radio and productions for live performance.
