Tyler Hilton

Born in Palm Springs and raised in Bermuda Dunes, California, Tyler Hilton developed from adolescence a singer-songwriter craft rooted in folk rock, pop rock, and indie rock, driven by understated melodies and often acoustic performances. His musical career began in the early 2000s, first on the local scene and then with an independent debut album, Tyler Hilton, in 2000, followed by The Tracks of Tyler Hilton in 2004. His path soon intersected with television thanks to One Tree Hill, where he appears in the role of Chris Keller, a stint that also accompanies the release of several tracks, including his duet on When the Stars Go Blue with Bethany Joy Lenz. Between acting gigs, notably in Walk the Line in 2005 where he portrays Elvis Presley, Hilton continues to pursue music with the EPs Better on Beachwood in 2009 and Ladies & Gentlemen in 2010, followed by the albums Forget the Storm in 2012, Indian Summer in 2014, and City on Fire in 2019. His style remains centered on American pop in song form, blending guitar, piano, and restrained rock arrangements, with a strong emphasis on ballads. In 2024, Tyler Hilton co-writes the soundtrack for the film My Old Ass with Jaco Caraco.
