Terrorvision

Formed in 1987 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, originally under the name The Spoilt Bratz before adopting the name Terrorvision in 1991 and settling in Bradford, Terrorvision developed an English rock sound that blended hard rock, alternative rock and punk energy with a strong sense of chorus, a frequently offbeat tone and songs built for the stage. Around Tony Wright, Mark Yates and Leigh Marklew, the band established itself in the early 1990s with Formaldehyde (1993), then broadened its audience with How to Make Friends and Influence People (1994) and Regular Urban Survivors (1996), where their writing combined direct guitars, dry rhythms and more pop-leaning melodies without abandoning a very upfront rock base. Shaving Peaches was released in 1998, followed by Good to Go in 2001, before the band split later that year. Terrorvision reformed several times thereafter, released Super Delux in 2011 and We Are Not Robots in 2024, and continues to operate on the British rock scene, both touring alone and alongside bands such as Thunder, Reef and The Wildhearts. Over the years, Terrorvision has kept its identity between rock tension, humour and melodic efficiency, with a lineup now augmented by Milly Evans and Chris Bussey.
