Peace Of Mind

Peace Of Mind takes shape in 2015 in east-central Germany around a four-piece lineup that sits within the European hardcore scene. The band develops a blunt, compact sound, rooted in beatdown hardcore and new-school hardcore, with short tracks, massive tempos, and a direct approach that remains tied to the energy of live performances. Over the years, Peace Of Mind has built its path on the live circuit, touring Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States, and sharing the bill with several names on the contemporary hardcore circuit, including Terror and Speed. This steady activity has been accompanied by several releases under the name Peace Of Mind, including the MMXVII EP in 2017, the Human Garbage album in 2019, and Blood Is The Price in 2024. The band's aesthetic rests on a constant tension between heavy moshing parts, drier accelerations, and a rough vocal performance, in a vein that draws as much from street hardcore as from the more metallic forms of the genre. Peace Of Mind thus sits in a generation of German bands for whom identity is forged as much on record as in the energy of live shows.
