Party Cannon

Formed in 2010 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, Party Cannon evolves at the crossroads of slam death metal, brutal death metal and grindcore, with an approach that blends heaviness, dry tempo shifts and dark humor. The band first made a name for itself with a demo in 2012, then the EP Partied in Half in 2013, before releasing Bong Hit Hospitalisation in 2015. Party Cannon develops a compact sound, based on massive riffs, tempo breaks and a very pronounced guttural vocal, in an intentionally excessive aesthetic that also plays on visual incongruity, notably through its vividly colored logo that has become widely noticed in the metal scene. After the EP Perverse Party Platter in 2017 and the split Cannons of Gore Soaked, Blood Drenched, Parasitic Sickness in 2019, Party Cannon released Volumes of Vomit in 2022, with guests from bands such as Exhumed, Waking the Cadaver and Cerebral Incubation. Present in death metal circuits and specialized festivals, the band has played notably at the San Francisco Bay Area Deathfest, MetalDays, Bloodstock Open Air and Summer Breeze, while also touring the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe. In 2024, Party Cannon signed with Unique Leader Records and released Injuries Are Inevitable.
