Miro Pajic
Born in Frankfurt am Main into a German-Serbian family, Miro Pajic has been part of the history of German electronic music since the early 1990s. After discovering techno in the wake of the club Omen, he began producing around 1992–1993 and released his first tracks in 1993 under the name Miro, connected to the circle around Planet Core Productions and Marc Acardipane. His early years are marked by a dark, tense register—between hardcore techno, doomcore, gabber and speedcore—with forays into breakbeat, ambient and more straightforward techno. Over the years Pajic also developed a more minimal, hypnotic facet while retaining a taste for cold textures, dry rhythms and melancholic atmospheres. Having lived in Frankfurt, Hamburg and later Berlin, he has released music under several aliases including Hypnotizer, Stickhead, Jack Lucifer and MSDMNR. His trajectory notably intersects with The Horrorist, with whom he collaborated several times, and with the Berlin label Items & Things in the early 2010s. Verified releases include Everything Is Nothing (2008) as Hypnotizer, Saturn Drama (2010) as Miro, and Contaminated Black Planet (2017) as Jack Lucifer. In 2008 Pajic founded the Berlin label Lazerslut Recordings as an extension of his work in abrasive, mental minimal techno.
