Mig

Under the name Mig, Dorota, Marek, Krzysiek and Sławek Gwiazdowscy have developed from Poland a repertoire rooted in disco polo, featuring danceable pop songwriting and arrangements that also incorporate live-played instruments, notably the saxophone. The project began in 2000 with the track «Czy to prawda», and Mig gradually built an original catalogue for which Marek is largely responsible for the lyrics and music. The group's discography includes, among others, the album «Wróć do mnie» released in 2009, followed by «Wymarzona» in 2015. Over the years Mig has released songs such as «Jej dotyk», «Wymarzona», «Miód malina», «Nie ma mocnych na Mariolę», «Słodka wariatka», «Ona jedyna» and «Będę przy Tobie», which have firmly established the group on the Polish disco polo scene. Mig's live activity remains central, with concerts in Poland and for the Polish diaspora—notably in the United States, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom—as well as appearances at major venues and events such as Sala Kongresowa, Stadion Narodowy and several year-end programmes on Polish television.
