Mark Sherry

Born in Ayr, Scotland, Mark Sherry has since the mid-1990s built a career straddling trance, tech trance and techno. He first appeared with Public Domain, a Scottish rave and hard-dance project that notably signed the track 'Operation Blade' in 2000, before pursuing under his own name with a more distinctly club-oriented direction, centered on nerve-wracking productions, taut trance structures and a strong liking for acidic textures and harder rhythms. Over the 2000s and 2010s, Mark Sherry established himself on European trance circuits through extensive remix and collaboration work, with releases on Armada, Spinnin’, Coldharbour, Perfecto Fluoro or Mental Atylum, as well as with artists such as David Forbes, Alex Di Stefano, Jordan Suckley or Scot Project. In 2014, Mark Sherry founded Outburst Records, a label that accompanies the evolution of his aesthetic toward a clearer junction between energetic trance and techno. This line is also reflected in his radio show Outburst, launched in 2007, and in his sets played on stages such as Trance Energy, Tomorrowland, Creamfields or Dreamstate. Among his albums and compilations are Mark Sherry Presents Outburst 500 in 2017 and Prism Volume 1 in 2016.
