Malu Trevejo
Born in Havana in 2002 and having spent time in Madrid before settling in Miami, Malu Trevejo has built a career between social media and Latin urban music. Discovered as a teenager thanks to her short videos, she quickly moved toward a sound blending reggaeton, Latin pop, Latin trap and R&B influences, in both Spanish and English. Her first official single, “Luna Llena” (2017), launched a series of tracks combining pop melodies, reggaeton rhythms and adolescent themes, followed by songs such as “En Mi Mente” and “Swipe Dat” in 2018. She then consolidated this early trajectory with the EP “Una Vez Más” (2019), which confirmed an aesthetic centered on Caribbean urban sonorities and bilingual fusion. The same year, a collaboration with Gente de Zona on “Nadie Como Yo” further established her within the circle of established Latino artists. Based in the United States, Malu Trevejo went on to release several singles — including “Pa La Calle” and “A Lo Malu” in 2020 and “Complicado” with Luar La L in 2021 — and continues to operate mainly through regular digital releases, navigating internet culture and the contemporary reggaeton/trap latino scene.
