Kianush

Born in Tehran in 1987 and raised in Münster, in the Kinderhaus neighborhood, Kianush develops a rap anchored in German street rap, with direct writing, autobiographical storytelling and production that moves between trap, dark melodies and more classical formats of German-speaking rap. After beginnings on the Münster local scene and several appearances alongside PA Sports, Kianush makes his mark within the independent label Life Is Pain, with which he builds most of his career. His path is also marked by a period of incarceration in the early 2010s, often mentioned as contextual background in his work without turning it into a plot device. In duo with PA Sports, Kianush releases the albums Desperadoz in 2014, Desperadoz II in 2018, Crossover in 2020 and Desperadoz III in 2021, which establish a complementary dynamic between introspection, urban tension and more melodic tracks. Solo, Kianush releases Szenario in 2016, Instinkt in 2017, Safe in 2019, Boost in 2021, X-Tape in 2022 and Szenariio in 2024. Over the years, Kianush has frequented the German rap scene through collaborations with artists such as Mosh36, Jamule, KC Rebell or Nazar, while maintaining an identity focused on personal lyrics, a compact phrasing and a dark aesthetic.
