Jamie Duggan

Born in Sheffield, Jamie Duggan has established himself in the British electronic music scene, building from the local scene in the north of England, in connection with the rise of bassline, speed garage and an edgy house marked by pounding bass and club rhythms. His career is closely linked to the Niche universe, with which he first supported and then extended the aesthetics, between British garage, 4x4 bassline and vocal house influences. Active as a DJ, producer and promoter, Jamie Duggan has also helped shape this scene through Wired Events and the activity of the TANK club in Sheffield, while regularly appearing in clubs and festivals across the United Kingdom. His discography, documented on reference platforms and discography databases, includes numerous singles, remixes and collaborations released on house and garage circuits, in a register designed for the club but tied to a strong regional identity. Jamie Duggan thus develops a direct and effective style, centered on the energy of the mix, fast grooves and very prominent basslines, which explains his enduring place in the recent history of British bassline.
