Ina Müller
Born in 1965 in Lower Saxony, Ina Müller first developed her career in northern Germany before becoming nationally known as a singer, comedian and television presenter. After training as a pharmacist, she turned in the 1990s to the cabaret and chanson scene as part of the duo Queen Bee, which combined sketches, songs and texts in Low German. From the early 2000s she pursued a solo career, building a repertoire of German pop with chanson and folk influences, driven by narrative, often humorous lyrics rooted in everyday life, which she performs both in standard German and in Low German dialect. Accompanied by a band favouring acoustic pop instrumentation, she alternates concerts in venues, festivals and tours across German-speaking countries. At the same time she hosts the TV show Inas Nacht, where interviews, music and comic acts meet, reinforcing the link between her work as a singer, writer and media personality. Ina Müller thus occupies a distinctive place in German-language song, at the intersection of popular entertainment, cabaret and social chronicle.
