In Other Climes

Formed in France in 2004, In Other Climes evolves at the crossroads of hardcore and metal, with a direct, fast and dense sound, driven by massive riffs, nervous tempos and aggressive vocals. The band lies in a hardcore-metal vein marked by live energy and writing aimed at immediate impact, while preserving an approach anchored in the underground scene. Over the years, In Other Climes has developed sustained live activity on stage in France as well as internationally, with tours in Europe, the United States, Brazil, Japan, Cuba, China and Southeast Asia, which helped widen its audience beyond the French circuit. This trajectory has been built as much by concerts as by a regular online presence, notably through its videos. The discography includes several releases noted on Discogs and platforms, among which Empty Throne (2006), The Light Between Us (2008), Vol. II - Ruiner (2011), Leftover (2013) and Ruthless (2016). Faithful to an abrasive and frontal aesthetic, In Other Climes has also shared the bill with bands from hardcore, punk and metal, in a scene-oriented logic rather than a strict genre.
