Inigo Kennedy

Based in London, Inigo Kennedy has been developing work since the 1990s that sits between techno, electro, ambient and experimental electronic music. He first emerged on the British scene with productions that are dry, precise and often melodic, where club structures sit alongside more abstract textures and sometimes broken rhythms. Alongside releases on his own label Asymmetric, Kennedy has also released on key European techno imprints such as Token and Stroboscopic Artefacts, which has broadened his presence beyond the UK. His discography is built mainly through EPs and maxi singles, following an approach that favors construction, space and variations of sonic material over the accumulation of effects. As a DJ and producer, Inigo Kennedy moves between clubs, festivals and more experimental contexts, with an aesthetic capable of shifting from tense, minimal techno to more atmospheric pieces while retaining a highly structured electronic compositional style.
