Erika Jayne

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, as Erika Nay Chahoy, Erika Jayne passed through New York and then Los Angeles before developing a musical project situated between dance-pop, club music and electronic pop. Her repertoire fits a nightlife aesthetic, with tracks crafted for the single format, direct choruses and highly staged performances. Erika Jayne launched her recording career under this name with "Roller Coaster" in 2007 and released the album Pretty Mess in 2009. The rest of her career has largely been built around a series of singles aimed at the dance and club circuit, including "One Hot Pleasure", "Party People (Ignite the World)", "Painkillr", "Crazy" with Maino, "How Many Fucks", "XXpen$ive" and "Cars". Before and during this musical activity she also pursued an on-screen career, appearing in Law & Order, High Incident, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens and The Young and the Restless. From 2015 her presence on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills further increased her public visibility. Erika Jayne thus occupies a space where club music, stage performance and American television intersect.
