Dark-E

Under the name Dark-E, Kristof Van den Berghe from Belgium has developed a career focused on the most energetic electronic music, spanning harddance, hardhouse, hardstyle, hardtrance, jump, trance, techno and tekno. Active in the Flemish scene since the 2000s, Dark-E sits within a context where crossovers between melodic trance, punchy rhythms and club-oriented formats play an important role, with a style that shifts from hard trance accelerations to more progressive textures depending on projects and sets. His discography includes several singles released on Zoo Records, including Hypnotical Summer and Tranceballers in 2004, Happy Hookers (Goes On...) and Spring Break in 2005, followed by Cold Fever and Holographic in 2007. In 2008, Dark-E signed Gods & Symbols, used as Reverze's anthem, before releasing in 2010 Sunset At Brecht / Melting with Playboyz. Dark-E is also known as a live-DJ and resident of the Highstreet club from the end of 2009, an anchor reflecting his regular presence on club and event stages linked to the hard and jump currents in Belgium.
