CygnosiC

CygnosiC is the project of Georgios Psaroudakis, a musician based in Athens who has been developing a solo project since 2006 that sits between dark electro, electro‑industrial and EBM. CygnosiC builds a dense, melodic sound carried by dark synthetic sequences, driving rhythms and a rough, growl‑like vocal, with an approach that blends industrial culture and metal tension. Initially emerging online in the mid‑2000s, CygnosiC released A Deity In Pain in 2009, then Fallen in 2011 and Fire And Forget in 2013, a period during which the project became more active on European dark electro stages. The 2015 album CygnosiC takes a double form, with one electronic side and a second devoted to metal reinterpretations of earlier tracks, which highlights the balance Georgios Psaroudakis seeks between programming and heavier instrumentation. The discography continues with Siren (2017), Epiphany (2019) and Demystify (2023). Over the years CygnosiC has played in Greece, Russia and several other European countries, appearing at festivals such as Wave‑Gotik‑Treffen, Summer Darkness and Resistanz, while regularly participating in remix exchanges within the alternative electronic scene.
