Criminal

Born in Santiago, Chile in 1991 around Anton Reisenegger, Criminal established itself in the wake of the South American metal scene before pursuing its path from the United Kingdom, where the band partially relocated in the early 2000s. Their repertoire blends thrash metal, death metal and groove metal, with tight riffs, a heavy rhythm and a rough vocal that has evolved without breaking with an aggressive and direct foundation. After two demos in 1992, Criminal released Victimized in 1994, followed by Dead Soul in 1997, a record that widened its visibility beyond Chile. Cancer followed in 2000, before a lineup reconfiguration and a new British phase with No Gods No Masters in 2004 and Sicario in 2005. The rest of the discography includes White Hell in 2009, Akelarre in 2011, Fear Itself in 2016 and Sacrificio in 2021. Over the years, Criminal has toured in Latin America and Europe, shared the bill with bands from thrash, death and grind, and played on stages such as Wacken Open Air. Criminal's trajectory remains closely tied to Anton Reisenegger, also active in Pentagram, while the lineup changes have accompanied geographic moves and inflections of its sound.
