Graamh
Born in 2009 around Vincent Dray and Alain Sczsygloswki, Graamh develops a writing situated between post-punk, cold wave and indie rock, with spare guitars, stretched melodic lines and a marked taste for dark atmospheres inherited from the 1980s. The project is set in an imaginary world nourished as much by sixties sounds as by references like The Sound or Echo and the Bunnymen, while maintaining a direct and current approach. Graamh released its first EP, NYC, in 2011, before its first album, The Day The Earth Stood Still, in 2012, which lays the foundations of a repertoire built on progressive rhythms, hypnotic chords and lyrics threaded with visions that are both lyrical and disenchanted. The group then continues its journey with the EP Garden of Eden in 2015 and Momentum in 2016, followed by The Horde in 2023. Across these releases, Graamh hones an identity that blends post-punk tension, cold melancholy and poetic narration, in a tightened band format where the balance between rock energy and contemplative atmospheres remains central.
