Kamelen
Born in 1993 in Bergen, in the Laksevåg district, Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele develops under the names Kamelen and Slim Kamel Norwegian rap anchored in urban realities, between street hip-hop, melodic refrains and trap-tinged productions. Kamelen emerged in the mid-2010s with the single « Si ingenting » in 2015, while his personal and judicial trajectory already occupies an important place in his public image. His lyrics regularly address the police, interrogations, prison and neighborhood life, with a direct writing style and an often tense delivery, sometimes more sung. After this first exposure, Kamelen released the album Ambivalent in 2017, followed by Kingpin Slim in 2019, #Frikjent in 2021 and Mest elsket & hatet in 2024. His journey sits within the Bergen rap scene while circulating widely in Norwegian urban pop, notably through collaborations with Ballinciaga, Broiler, Emma Steinbakken, Branco or Coucheron. This evolution leads him to move from a raw and conflictual register to tracks more open to club formats and mainstream audiences, without breaking with the straightforward tone that characterizes Kamelen.
