Emo Orchestra
Designed as a stage format dedicated to the emo and 2000s pop-punk repertoire, Emo Orchestra brings together a live band, a full orchestra and guests from this scene in a show built around symphonic rearrangements. The project develops in the United States and translates to the stage, in a theatrical setting, pieces associated with emo, alternative rock and pop-punk, while preserving their melodic thread and opening them to broader orchestrations. Emo Orchestra does not function as a band in the classical sense, but as a collective production whose identity rests on the meeting between rock energy, live singing and orchestral writing. Depending on dates, the lineup welcomes genre-related artists, like The Spill Canvas, who perform both their own repertoire and covers of major bands of this generation, including Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, A Day to Remember or The Used. Emo Orchestra thus sits within a hybrid concert approach, halfway between stage homage, orchestral reinterpretation, and live performance, designed for an audience familiar with this musical culture.
