CNBLUE

Formed in Seoul in 2009, CNBLUE first built their reputation on the Japanese live scene, from street performances in Tokyo to clubs, before launching their Korean career in 2010 with the mini‑album Bluetory and the single “I'm a Loner”. Originally conceived as a quartet, the group is now a trio comprising Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk and Lee Jung-shin, following Lee Jong-hyun’s departure in 2019. CNBLUE's music combines pop rock, melodic rock and electronic touches, featuring a guitar‑centered format, direct songwriting and highly structured choruses, sometimes extended by more synthetic arrangements in recent productions. Between Korean and Japanese activities, CNBLUE has released several key milestones in their discography such as First Step (2011), 2gether (2015), the mini‑album Re‑Code (2020), and the Japanese albums Code Name Blue (2012), Wave (2014), Euphoria (2016) and Pleasures (2023). Accustomed to touring across Asia and Japan, CNBLUE has also developed an international presence with the Blue Moon World Tour in 2013, followed by new concert series in 2024 around CNBLUENTITY and Voyage into X.
