Cielo Razzo

Formed in Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, Cielo Razzo has since 1993 developed an Argentine rock that blends alternative rock, grunge, and garage rock with a more local sensibility inherited from barrial and rioplatense rock. The band emerged from the Rosario independent scene before widening its audience in the early 2000s with Buenas in 2001, followed by Código de barras in 2003, recorded after several lineup changes and marked by the arrival of drummer Javier Robledo. Around Pablo Pino on vocals, Fernando Aime and Diego Almirón on guitars, Cristian Narváez on bass, with Marcelo Vizarri on keyboards as a permanent guest, Cielo Razzo subsequently evolved its writing toward a broader and more nuanced sound on Marea in 2005, Grietas in 2007, Compost in 2010, Sideral in 2013 and Tierra nueva in 2015. Used to venues and rock festivals in Argentina, the band also documented its trajectory on the live albums Audiografía in 2006 and Cielo vivo in 2018, recorded for its 25th anniversary at Luna Park. In 2024, Cielo Razzo added El día fuera del tiempo to a discography that reflects a rare continuity, between electric tension, direct melodies and lyrics anchored in a popular rock culture.
