Tracey

Based in London since its formation in 2024, Tracey takes the form of a duo that blends alternative R&B, bass music and electronic pop in a nervous and deliberately off-kilter format. The project develops a writing that brings together club rhythms, direct refrains and more vaporous textures, with a marked taste for contrasts between front energy, British irony and slower passages. Tracey released a self-titled first EP in 2025, where there is both a dancey and percussion side, notably on 'Sex life' with Riko Dan, and a more atmospheric approach on 'When I choose to be here with you' or 'Take Care', which leans toward an emo-pop tinged R&B. In the same year, the duo continues with Sleazy (2025), a tighter record around a club aesthetic, punchy basses, vocal cuts and digital pop accents. Tracey thus sits in a London scene attentive to intersections between electronic music and contemporary vocal forms, with a sound that summons both booty bass and certain hyperpop or UK bass aesthetics without being limited to them.
