DalidaCarnage

Under the name DalidaCarnage, Paola Avilés is developing a project located at the crossroads of the harp, sound experimentation, and electronic music. Presented as the alter ego of a harpist with a classical, experimental, and electroacoustic background, DalidaCarnage shifts this practice toward mixing and production with a more nocturnal and contrasted approach. Her universe moves between bass music, break, drum and bass, deep, trip-hop, ambient and hybrid electronic forms, with a pronounced taste for dark textures, oblique atmospheres, and flexible rhythmic constructions. Through her selections as well as her productions, DalidaCarnage articulates an aesthetics traversed by the idea of spectres, inner narratives, and murky sonic materials, without tipping into the illustrative. Her presence on platforms such as Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Apple Music or Spotify shows a project tied to both composition and DJing, while her stint at Radio Flouka places her in a scene attentive to dialogues between club music, sound research, and personal narratives. DalidaCarnage thus builds a language where physical impulse, abstraction, and emotional tension coexist.
