MUNE

Based in the Cotentin, where he writes from a tiny house perched in the dunes, MUNE is developing a project that sits between pop folk, French chanson and discreet electronic atmospheres, centered on a sensitive and imagery-rich writing. Behind this name is Maxime Lamotte, a musician who previously worked on the projects Abisko and ALPHABET, with whom he has already accumulated hundreds of concerts and played on stages such as Trans Musicales, Printemps de Bourges or Vieilles Charrues. With MUNE, he tightens the formula around a flexible voice, pared-back melodies and arrangements where the acoustic dialogue with more atmospheric textures. His universe draws as much from the intimate as from the coastal landscapes that surround him, and extends on stage in a setup designed as an extension of his songs. MUNE will publish in 2025 the EP Assis au bord du monde, self-produced, which marks the discographic debut of this new project and lays the foundations of an aesthetic that is at once fragile, organic and direct.
