Mottomoda

Franco-Japanese project formed by Alexis Croisé, Akemi Fujimori, Takumi Iida and Carol Teillard d’Eyry, Mottomoda moves between drum and bass, hyperpop and nerve-wracking electronic pop, with short, dense and relentlessly rhythmic tracks. The group brings together musicians who have passed through Biche and Aqua Nebulla Oscillator, two trajectories that partly illuminate Mottomoda’s taste for oblique formats, pronounced contrasts and a writing that brings saturation, catchy melodies and sharp accelerations to coexist. Mottomoda began releasing music in 2025 with the track GLO$$, followed by Kill le Tiger in 2026, the first milestones of a repertoire built on direct energy and a deliberately abrasive aesthetic. At the crossroads of the French indie scene and a broader dialogue with contemporary pop codes, Mottomoda develops a formula where voices, digital textures and fast rhythms advance without a moment’s pause. Still new, Mottomoda already stamps its identity in a hybrid, tense and very physical register, designed as much for listening as for the stage.
