Blousey

Based in London, Blousey brings together six musicians around a taut and moving art rock, where abrasive guitars, post-punk bursts, more melodic passages, and writing that plays on the contrasts between restraint and explosion intersect. The band formed on the London independent scene and quickly circulated in several venues and DIY spaces across the capital, joining a concert network linked to the new British rock scenes. Blousey develops a dense yet legible sound, with compositions that alternate dark textures, nervous rhythms and more airy moments, without straying from a raw, frontal aesthetic. Among the available tracks is 'Chances', released in 2024, which offers a glimpse of this approach between tension, fragility and collective energy. In live performances, Blousey has notably shared bills with Gretel and the American Lifeguard, placing its activity in a circuit of emerging groups between art rock, noise rock and post-punk. Blousey thus belongs to a London generation attentive both to stage impact and to the construction of songs with changing forms.
