Blossom Caldarone

Born in 1999 in Gloucester, England, Blossom Caldarone is developing a solo project at the crossroads of indie pop and jazz pop, with a writing style centered on voice, piano and cello. Active since 2017, Blossom Caldarone made her debut with the single "Fairytale Lullaby" and the EP Sit and Be the same year, before continuing with several tracks blending chamber pop, mellifluous melodies and acoustic arrangements. Her career later centers around the EPs Not My Stories to Tell in 2019, Maybe in Love (Maybe Not) in 2023, and Might Smash a Window in 2026. Her aesthetic mixes pop formats, narrative sense, orchestral touches and inflections sometimes close to light cabaret or ballad, while staying in an intimate and direct register. On stage, Blossom Caldarone has performed at British festivals such as All Points East, Bestival and Live at Leeds, while also pursuing work as a supporting musician. She thus joins English Teacher as a touring member on cello and piano, and also appears alongside other projects in the English indie scene. Parallel to her solo releases, Blossom Caldarone collaborates with George Moir on "Lonely" in 2020 and contributes to black midi's Cavalcade album in 2021 with cello and vocal parts.
